Since being adopted, this Jack Russell never leaves his bowl (even when he sleeps)

Neville, a Jack Terrier Russell adopted two years ago, sleeps next to his bowl every night and takes it just about anywhere. For the dog, the bowl is a source of comfort and represents his new life.

He is about to end up run over, his mother saves him

Neville is an adorable Jack Russell Terrier who has been living with Susanne for a couple of years, the woman who adopted him after she came across his photo posted on an animal rescue center website. Ever since he walked into his new home, Neville sleeps next to his bowl every night and takes it just about everywhere. According to his "adoptive mom", it is a beautiful gesture of gratitude and a way to show how lucky he was to get a second chance. For Neville, that bowl is a source of comfort and symbolizes his new life.

When Susanne decided to welcome Neville into her home, she was already living with a rescue dog, but she really wanted to help a puppy in need. The moment she discovered that the Jack Russell Terrier in the picture was not a puppy, Susanne didn't think twice and she decided to adopt him anyway.

"He was 10 and I knew immediately that I loved him!" - Says the woman - "I queued for three hours outside the center to make sure she was the first to show interest in her adoption of her and we bonded the moment we looked into her eyes."

For Neville, the bowl is a source of comfort and safety

Neville was found wandering the streets, but not much is known about his past. From his attitude to him, however, it is likely that he did not have an easy life at all.

“We believe it was exploited for breeding and treated badly” - explained Susanne - “At first it competed for food and tried to feed directly from the floor or from the other dog's bowl. I had to teach him to eat from a bowl, and once he learned, she really enjoyed it. "

By now he is so fond of his bowl that he takes it wherever he goes, even in his kennel where he sleeps every night.

“I think he has never had a bowl of his own and now he realizes he has one and for him it represents a reliable source of good and nutritious food” - says Susanne. “He seems so incredibly grateful for a simple bowl. I think it represents comfort and home for him. She is a kind, quiet and shy soul who follows me everywhere. Now he's 12 and he's quite deaf and doesn't see very well, but he loves life! "

Cute Neville brought a wave of joy to Susanne's life, and she now hopes she can encourage other people to adopt an older dog to give him a second chance because it's never too late for an adoption.
