We are in Coachella, in the southern part of California and the coldness of this woman leaves us speechless. She gets out of her car to take out the trash. She very casually opens the dumpster, but then decides to throw the bag on the ground. She gets back in the car and drives off.
In that bag there are seven little dogs of just three days old and fortunately for them the story has a happy ending. Shortly after, a passer-by hears moans, approaches the bag and makes the bitter discovery. The puppies piled on top of each other, with a temperature of 30 degrees, would surely have died in no time.
The man named John immediately alerted the local animal welfare authorities.
“The Good Samaritan played a vital role in saving the lives of these puppies. His actions were heroic and of high human value. There is no excuse to abandon the puppies, especially now that there are numerous facilities that can care for them and find new owners, it was a shameful act, ”says Chris Mayer, commander of the animal welfare services department.

The authorities on Monday confirmed the arrest of the woman, who will have to answer for seven counts: in her home she had another 30 dogs kept in precarious sanitary conditions. All the animals were kidnapped and taken to a shelter in Thousand Palms.
For the seven rescued puppies, however, the doors of MeoowzResQ have opened ”, a charity for the support and rescue of animals that will take care of them until they are ready to be entrusted to a new family.
