Don't store avocado like this: it's dangerousWould you like to become the farmers of tomorrow, learning new models that combine sustainability with innovation? In March 2018 the Diffused School of the Earth starts again - Emilio Sereni, here's how to participate.
The school of agriculture reopens its doors and until 22th December it is possible to enroll in the second cycle of theoretical and practical training in ecological agriculture, of the project conceived by the Terra! association.
From animal husbandry to the agricultural part, from permaculture to the recovery of native species in danger of extinction, from the conservation of traditional knowledge to the management aspects of a company, there are many aspects to be explored in order to become farmers of tomorrow.
In fact, in recent years there has been a real return to the land, naturally to the sustainable and organic one that respects biodiversity and the cycle of crops. The School gives a hand to those who want to make it a profession.
“It is an ambitious project with which we want to give a concrete answer to the many young people who in recent years have asked us for help to get closer to agriculture. At the same time, it wants to be the concrete manifestation of our idea of ecological agriculture, respectful of the environment and biodiversity ", says Fabio Ciconte, Earth director!
The course
Each training cycle is aimed at 15 participants under 40 looking for a job and in possession of a bachelor's or upper secondary school diploma (high school or technical and professional address).
The theoretical training will be held in Rome (at the Cooperative Co.r.ag.gio, via Cassia 1420) with teachers, researchers, scientists, agronomists and ecologists of national profile; that practice, on the other hand, will take place in three partner companies.
