Amphorae, marble and bricks, all from the Roman era. It is the hidden treasure at a depth of 640 meters in the waters of the island of Pianosa, in the wonderful Tuscan Archipelago, brought back to light thanks to the skilful work of an underwater robot.

A load that dates back to the second or first century BC, identified in an operation that saw the collaboration of the Department of Humanities of the Ca 'Foscari University and Guido Gay, owner engineer of the Actionmare Foundation and producer and pilot in remote of underwater robots exploring wrecks in depth.

The thousands of frames captured by the robot show in detail a large number of well-preserved artifacts probably attributable to a Roman transport.
