He is about to end up run over, his mother saves him

Abused, left in the cold, locked in small cages: for years the dogs of the John's Jack Russell Terriers in Michigan lived a hellish existence, before being sold for hundreds of euros each. The nightmare only finally ended last weekend, when activists from several animal welfare organizations - after four days of persistent calls and emails to the Missaukee County Sheriff - raided the facility, rescuing scores of Jack Russells.

The breeder, who had already been reported years ago, kept the poor dogs in steel cages, in the middle of the mud, garbage and urine. And even in the coldest months, the animals were left in the snow and rain, fracid and shivering from the cold.

In addition to having no room to move, the dogs were denied even water. Driven by thirst, some dogs have even managed to make holes in the ice to be able to lick some water. But the atrocities don't end there.

As the terrible pictures from PETA show, the man used to mutilate Jack Russell Terrier puppies, leaving them agonizing: the tail was cut without any anesthetic and with the use of tools such as nail clippers. A real torture.

The poor dogs were not only subjected to physical suffering, but also to a frightening stress that prompted them to continually jump and hang from metal cages, barking incessantly. During the undercover investigation, the PETA activist even came across a dead dog with a mouth full of straw and leaves.

Fortunately, now, this lager for animals has closed its doors, but it will not be easy for the surviving dogs to be able to overcome the numerous traumas they have suffered ...
