    Here are some tips for the hygiene of your fridge:

    1. Mold and bacteria usually proliferate very easily in medium temperatures. Deciding to refrigerate foods that have been for a long time at room temperature it might not be a good idea because mold, bacteria or insects on them could contaminate other foods already in the fridge.

    2. Avoid refrigerating still hot food. Due to the heat the condenser will use more energy to ensure the set temperature. So let your food cool before putting it back in the refrigerator by placing it in a container in a bain-marie in cold water.
