And, as for all panels, the same precautions apply to increase their efficiency, some of which are listed below.

- A solar panel is also great for keep the battery charged during winter storage, especially if for a caravan or motor home with a battery powered alarm system. But even here, be careful: to take into account the low levels of light in winter you may need a 20W panel or more;
- The powers indicated on the technical characteristics are entirely nominal: those actually generated depend on many factors to be taken into account (time of year, phase of the day, inclination, etc.)
