Don't store avocado like this: it's dangerous

An infection that affects the lungs and manifests itself with difficulty in breathing and fever: precisely as a respiratory disease, pneumonia manifests itself with an abnormal difficulty in breathing, often accompanied by very high fever and cough. But what are the symptoms that should not be underestimated to diagnose pneumonia in time?

Pneumonia is an infection that inflames the air sacs in one or both lungs. These can fill with fluid or pus (purulent material), causing a cough with phlegm, fever, chills, and difficulty breathing. It can be caused by a variety of organisms, including bacteria, viruses, parasites and fungi.

La pneumonia can range in severity, from mild to life-threatening. It is more serious for infants and young children, for people over the age of 65, and for those who have health problems or an already compromised immune system.

I symptoms can change depending on the subject, age and the presence of any other pathologies.

Types of pneumonia

Depending on the cause, different forms of pneumonia are distinguished due to factors known as:

  • infectious agents (viruses, bacteria, fungi, parasites)
  • vapors (mercury, thermosetting resins, hydrocarbons)
organic dusts (e.g. farmer's pneumonia, mushroom grower, air conditioner pneumonia)
  • inorganic powders
  • chemical powders (nylon and polyester, vinyl chloride, bakelite)
  • gas (oxygen, chlorine, nitrogen and sulfur dioxide, methylsocyanate)
  • fumes (e.g. zinc oxide, iron, manganese, copper, magnesium, tin, nickel, brass)
  • poisons
