The Fargo Brewing Company, a North Dakota craft brewery, came up with a brilliant idea to help some abandoned dogs find a family. The faces of these animals appear on beer cans and thus have greater opportunities to be seen and adopted.
La Fargo Brewing Company, a North Dakota craft brewery, came up with a brilliant idea to help some abandoned dogs find a family. The faces of these animals appear on beer cans and thus have greater opportunities to be seen and adopted.
For this initiative of solidarity towards animals, the brewery has collaborated with “4 Luv of Dog Rescue“, a non-profit organization, which is committed to finding a welcoming home for dogs housed in shelters.
The photos of dogs, thanks to the cans of beer, reach almost everywhere and, this special "showcase" offers him more opportunities to be welcomed into a family. Among other things, these are animals that, for various reasons, have difficulty in being adopted and have been waiting for a long time to find a suitable home for them.
Nicknamed “one-of”, these dogs, as the volunteers of the association are keen to point out, they have special needs and requirements like being the only ones in the house. We are therefore looking for families that do not already host other pets.
The six dogs on the beer cans are named Nyx, Bizzy, Jensen, Hobie, Moby and Virginia. The local community was invited to a special event that took place at the brewery where all participants were able to collect a 6-pack of beers with photos of the dogs and also meet them directly to learn more about their history. All proceeds from the evening will be donated to the association which will thus be able to feed and satisfy the various needs of their guests' animals.

These are obviously limited edition packs of beer but if the initiative is successful (ie it will lead to the adoption of all dogs), the idea could be repeated and, why not, proposed elsewhere too!
