Mulino Bianco has recently announced that it has eliminated palm oil from the 'Fior di latte' and 'Chocolate beans' biscuits. Gentilini, on the other hand, said goodbye topalm oil in cookies last May. Also Measure, in 2015, it decided to give up palm oil in all of its products, including biscuits and rusks. And just a few days ago Colussi stated that from now on palm oil will be replaced by sunflower oil in the brand's biscuits and that only wholemeal or semi-wholemeal (type 2) flours will be used.

Here is a list that includes some of the palm oil-free biscuits that we can find for sale. Given the numerous products on the market, this is not a complete list but only an indication of some of the palm oil-free biscuits that we can easily find in grocery and organic food stores.

Always check the ingredients on the label before buying your cookies. In a transition phase, there may still be older version palm oil products on store shelves if the company has recently changed the recipe.

Beyond the presence or absence of palm oil, also check the quality of the other ingredients present in biscuits, for example wholemeal flour instead of refined flour and wholemeal cane sugar instead of refined sugar. In the biscuits on the list palm oil has been replaced with extra virgin olive oil or sunflower oil.
