Remember Ooho !? We told you about it a few years ago: it is an edible water bottle in the shape of a sphere. Now, the product has obtained the first commercial license.
Over the past six months, it skipping Rocks Lab has tested this particular sphere of water in its laboratories in London and in these days the green light has arrived for the marketing.
Looking at it it looks like a transparent balloon, a water bubble held in the palm of one hand. S.it seems an invention coming from the future but it is part of the present and promises, with its widespread diffusion, of reduce the pollution produced by plastic.
In fact, we know that the bottles currently in use are very polluting, they often end up in the sea and remain there to wander for years and years. A use that lasts a few minutes but we pay for a long time.
With Ooho! instead we could drink without producing waste. The quantity of water contained in this edible sphere made of algae is in fact what is needed to quench one's thirst, more or less like we would do with a 250 ml glass of water.
“Ooho! is a packaging, a sustainable alternative to plastic bottles and cups, based on an extract of seaweed. It is completely biodegradable and so natural that you can actually eat it! " we read on place Journal. “Our packaging is cheaper than plastic and can encapsulate any drink: water, soft drinks, liqueurs".

Over the past two years, time has developed technologies for manufacturing, for which it has recently filed a patent application.
"We want to solve the problem of plastic waste and reduce the impact of packaging on the climate" ensure.
The initiative has already raised almost € 1 million in donations.
