But now the denial has come from the person concerned himself. "No, I'm not positive for covid-19," Bolsonaro wrote on social media.
According to reports from the Journal or Dia, the main Rio de Janeiro newspaper, the first test for the coronavirus carried out on Bolsonaro would have given a positive result and further confirmation with a second swab was awaited.
The news is inevitably going around the world and it's really explosive not just because he is the first president of a positive state, but also and above all because the meeting between Bolsonaro and Donald Trump took place a few days ago.
