Within the awards ceremony of the 2009 Recyclers Municipalities, the traditional appointment promoted by Legambiente and sponsored by the Ministry of the Environment, which took place today in Rome, Coreve also awarded special awards to the Municipalities that during the year have distinguished themselves in the separate collection of glass.

Within the award ceremony of the Municipalities Recyclers 2009, the traditional appointment promoted by Legambiente and sponsored by Ministry of the Environment, which took place today in Rome, were awarded by the Coreve also the special awards to the Municipalities that during the year distinguished themselves in the differentiated collection of glass.
The municipal administrations which, according to the Glass Recovery Consortium, have most shown a particular commitment in guaranteeing the efficiency of the glass recycling I'm:
- Gravellona Toce (Verbania), for the Northern area
- Senigaglia (Ancona), for the central area
- sinnai (Cagliari), for the South area
Currently the glass collection considered more efficient and less impactful for the coffers of local authorities is that monomaterial, or the so-called "street bells which allows to obtain, already in the collection phase, a quality of the material adequate to the technological needs of the subsequent treatment and recycling phases.
“Quantity and quality are the two key criteria that guided CoReVe in selecting the administrations to be awarded - he underlines Enzo Cavalli, President of CoReVe - we believe that to achieve excellence it is necessary to aim for satisfactory results from a quantitative point of view and, at the same time, to pursue the highest levels of quality of the collected material. Only in this way is it possible to support the glass recycling and save public resources. We hope that the cases of excellence, today represented by the Recycling Municipalities, can spread rapidly, tracing the way towards increasingly innovative and effective differentiated collection methods, as in the case of separation by color ".
