You can make a simple one effective and natural remedy to repel mosquitoes and spend a peaceful summer evening indoors or outdoors.

Get to work and retrieve a glass jar, lemon, lime, a candle and essential oils to make this remedy right away.

You will need:

- 1 or 2 lemon slices
- 1 or 2 slices of lime
- A few sprigs of rosemary
- Water
- 7-10 drops of eucalyptus or lemongrass essential oil
- 1 floating candle

In this recipe eucalyptus essential oil is the active ingredient. You can use, specifically, the essential oil of eucalyptus limoncino, if you find it in a herbalist's shop, or the essential oil of lemongrass.

Pour the lime or lemon slices, a few sprigs of rosemary and the chosen essential oil into the bottom of a glass jar. Fill the jar with water, add a floating candle and light it. In this way, pleasant scents will be released for you but unwelcome to mosquitoes.
