He is about to end up run over, his mother saves him

Due leoni kept in cages in the zoo in Islamabad, Pakistan, they are died during the trip that should have given him back his freedom.

The felines, a male and a female, were in fact about to be transferred to a sanctuary. Sanctuary which unfortunately they never reached, as they both died a few hours away.

The animals were in perfect health before leaving: the cause of death could depend on the mistreatment suffered and for mishandling during transportation, which could have caused excessive stress to the animals, also due to the high temperatures of these days.

To be able to transfer the lions from one cage to another the employees of the zoo they started a fire a few meters from the animals, and then goad them with sticks to get them to move.

The cruelty reserved for the two specimens is evident from the terrible videos published on the net.

Following the release of the videos, which will now be used as evidence, the Ministry of Climate Change said it was seriously concerned about the intolerable and inhumane treatment of the animals by the zoo and set up a commission of inquiry to shed light on the deaths of the two cats.
