Popsicles are a great remedy for the summer heat. And, if prepared with seasonal fruit and genuine ingredients, they represent a healthy and light snack. The most popular fruit of the summer is undoubtedly the Cantaloupe melon, juicy, fragrant and rich in vitamins and minerals.

Ingredients (for 6 popsicles)

  • 1 cantaloupe melon
  • lemon juice
  • 75 grams of agave syrup (alternatively 60 grams of stevia)
  • 1/2 liter of water

Preparation

Cut the melon in half, remove the internal filaments and seeds and peel it. Once the peel is removed, do it in chunks. Transfer the melon pieces to a blender and add the agave syrup or stevia, a tablespoon of lemon juice and water and blend until smooth and creamy.

Now all that remains is to pour everything into the popsicle molds. Store in the freezer for about half an hour. Take them out and add the wooden sticks and put them back in the freezer for at least 4 hours.

Before consuming them you can run a little warm water on the outside of the molds in order to extract them more easily.
