Malala made the announcement to Stockholm, where he received the prestigious award. "I am honored to announce to children all over my world that the money from this award will go to help students and schools in a particularly difficult place, Gaza," said Malala.
Funds will be donated to Unrwa, who in Malala's words is doing heroic work to save children in Gaza under very difficult circumstances. This funding will help rebuild 65 schools damaged during the war.
