Make your children play sports from an early age, their health is at stake, but also their academic performance

According to a recent research, physical activity in primary school children has enormous positive effects on their general health, on physical fitness but above all on learning at school, as it improves the ability to concentrate.

A new study has found that physical activity is highly beneficial for primary school children. According to the researchers, there is a strong correlation between fitness, concentration and health-related quality of life in young children.

Researchers studied the benefits of sports activities on a cohort of 3285 girls and 3248 boys from the Bavarian district of Berchtesgadener Land.

With internationally standardized test procedures, scientists evaluated the relationship between force physics e resistance and ability to concentrate.

They found that the higher the fitness level of the children, the better their concentration and health-related quality of life.

While boys performed better on fitness tests, girls scored higher in terms of concentration.
Overweight and obese children had significantly lower scores for physical well-being, theesteem and the ability to make new friends.

In addition, it was found that primary school pupils with good physical fitness and a good ability to concentrate are more likely to arrive at secondary schools.

This means that it is even more important to encourage motor development in children at an early stage, as this can have a positive impact on the development of their physical and mental fitness.
