A real heroine of recycling. Let's talk about Maggie, the dog who cleans London's Avery Hill Park: during her long runs and walks she collects plastic bottles.

A real heroine of recycling. Let's talk about Maggie, the dog who cleans London's Avery Hill Park: during her long runs and walks she collects plastic bottles.

It is five years old and in London it has become the symbol of the fight against plastic which, as we know, is the first source of pollution in the world. Maggie, a cross between a Rottweiler and a Labrador, loves to collect abandoned bottles in the park, doing a great service to the community (which she should avoid getting dirty).

According to owner Susan Parr, Maggie is a real street cleaner. While she used to be spiteful by stealing balls, gloves and hats, now she is dedicated to the environment.

During the walks in the park he collects the bottles and brings them to Susan who then, as a teamwork foresees, throws them correctly in the trash.

And Maggie has become very good: she can even collect four at a time. Her resourcefulness did not go unnoticed and the dog became known to the residents of the area. Susan thus created the#bemorelikemaggie to encourage more people to recycle.

“She loves doing it. She doesn't really need any encouragement, no one has trained her, she is simply her favorite game, ”says the owner.

A beautiful game that is good for the environment!
