Un low cost playground designed by children for children. Who better than a child would be able to indicate the favorite games and entertainment for the little ones? Hence the idea of creating a special playground, truly child-friendly. The occasion for the presentation of the project is the Salone Internazionale del Mobile 2014, which takes place in Milan from 8 to 13 April.
The low cost playground was born from an idea of Daniele Pario Perra. The creation of the playground has developed thanks to a series of free-to-attend workshops to find the best solutions and to invent new games. The children actively participated and helped bring the games they wanted most to life.
The initiative aims to stimulate local administrations to take care of neglected urban spaces that could be transformed into play areas for children. You don't need to spend a lot to create a low cost playground. The creators of Low Cost Design Park proved it.
In fact, you can create fantastic settings, role-playing and identification games without lowering the quality of the projects, but by inventing innovative uses of objects from other sectors, in the name of reducing the environmental, human and energy impact.
Here then is that the glass bells, the waste bins and industrial drums they are transformed into real games and help children to become familiar with sustainability.
Projects for the Furniture expo include among other things Casatonda, a house made from a glass bell, Tirogiro, a pyramid of tires, Casaquadra, the dumpster house, e Passagomma, the jump of flat tires.
Thanks to the collaboration with companies manufacturer of adaptable structures to a playground, many new areas dedicated to children can be created in our cities, without the need for expensive investments.
