Fruits and vegetables
Having the right dose of mineral salts and vitamins in the body is very important to ensure that the pressure is regularized on the right values. Go ahead then, even more so in summer with the heat, to a large consumption of fruit and vegetables. At least 5 servings a day, better if more. However, it is better to take licorice not when you are already feeling low in tone but in advance and always without exaggerating.
To chew a small piece of ginger, a ginger candy or candied ginger can help those with low blood pressure. You can also use the fresh root on your favorite dishes or prepare it ginger herbal tea also excellent for promoting digestion and replenishing fluids.
Salt is able to keep the pressure higher, but it is a food to be consumed in moderation due to some side effects that it entails. In case of low blood pressure, it is better to calibrate with your doctor the most suitable daily quantity for the situation in order to enjoy the advantages of salt consumption while avoiding contraindications, especially in the long term.
A good rule of thumb, especially if you have low blood pressure after meals, is to avoid heavy lunches and dinners and wrong food combinationsAnd. Instead, it is better to prefer food in small doses. That is to say eating small, frequent meals throughout the day in order to make digestion easier and thus lighten the work of the organism.
Avoid drinking alcohol and even more super alcohol is advice that is provided in several cases including problems related to blood pressure. If you really can't give up on beer or wine, at least consumption should be limited to a minimum.
