When this three-year-old Shepherd Lab developed an eye infection, its owners, to avoid paying for the treatment, didn't seek treatment until it was too late and had to have both of its eyes removed. While he was with them, Louis was not getting the care he needed, and because of his problem, after some time, he was also hit by a car and broke his leg. The Helen Woodward Animal Center shelter welcomed Louis and looked after him. The Walkers responded quickly to the request.
