Leo, the faithful dog who waited for his 'humans' in the same crossroads for 4 years and finally hugged them

    Leo has been lost for four years and all this time he has been waiting for his masters at a crossroads, hoping to be able to meet them again

    The amazing story of Leo it has made the hearts of millions of millions of Thais melt and thanks to the Internet it has crossed the borders of the country, becoming viral all over the world.





    BonBon lived on the street, in the city of Khon Kaen, in Thailand and had a strange habit: he sat at an intersection most of the day, as if he were waiting for someone.

    Residents believed it was a stray or abandoned dog and didn't give much thought to it strange behaviour by Leo. But one day a boy became curious and decided to find out more.

    The boy discovered that Leo had been living there for four years: the dog had been found undernourished by a local woman, Saowalak, who had initially decided to adopt him. After recovering his strength, Leo escaped from Saowalak's home for go back to the intersection to wait.
    The woman decided to leave Leo free, but continued to bring him food and water every day.

    The boy thought that Leo and Saowalak's was a good story and decided to share it on Facebook, posting photos of the dog and the woman who had been taking care of them for four years.

    The post quickly went viral thanks to hundreds of shares on Social Networks, who made the story reach the old dog owners.

    Leo was called BonBon and belonged to a couple from the province of Roi Et. Nang Noi Slittisarn and her husband they had lost their friend on a trip in Khon Kaen in February 2015.

    BonBon was in the back seats of the couple's car when, at a traffic light, he jumped out of the car, attracted by no one knows what.

    Nang and her husband they looked for BonBon everywhere without finding him: after a week of searching they gave up, believing that their dog had been run over.



    A few days ago, the couple saw BonBon's photos and discovered that their four-legged friend was not only alive, but had been waiting faithfully for them since the day he was lost.

    Nang and her husband immediately set out to bring BonBon home: the happiness of meeting again she was great for everyone and BonBon never stopped jumping and wagging her tail.

    But when the couple tried to get the dog into the car, BonBon didn't want to follow them. In these long four years, BonBon grew fond of his new human friend, Saowalak, and did not want to get away from her.

    Nang and her husband therefore decided not to force BonBon and di leave him with the woman who had saved and cared for him since he was alone. They will come back to visit the dog regularly, bringing him toys, food and anything else he will need.
