Land Art: the artist who leaves beautiful stone spirals on the beaches of Wales

The artist who creates wonderful and immense spirals of stones on the beaches of Wales, truly unique works of Land Art.

Le spirals they are fascinating in themselves, but seeing them reproduced in giant format on the beaches must be an absolutely hypnotic and thrilling spectacle. This is demonstrated by the works of the artist Jon Foreman, who creates spirals of stones arranged in a swirling way on the beautiful and immense beaches of Wales, where he lives.

For Jon it is a therapeutic art that helps him to feel better, to find peace, thanks to the slow and patient process of creation. Also because his spirals are only partially planned, Jon loves to let the work complete itself. The unknown, for him, is comforting.

Since the Land Art, its spirals return to the nature from which they come, and for Jon it is a pleasure to witness the disappearance of his masterpieces, destroyed by waves or atmospheric agents, because the idea that they do not last long does not bother him at all, far from it. On the other hand, they are born from nature and return to nature.
