For at least two decades the artist Martin Hill has traveled all over the world, in search of remote places, where to create his own fantastic natural Land Art sculptures. Martin Hill is a photographer it's a environmental artist, which deals with creating sculptures from pebbles and stones, fallen branches, ice and other natural materials.



    His creations are born from the gifts that nature makes available to the artist directly on the ground of the places he visited and chosen as the setting for his works. For stone and ice sculptures, he sometimes collaborates with the artist Philippa Jones. Over time, the duo has composed an extraordinary portfolio of artistic works focused on circular shapes representing i cycles of nature that it is possible to grasp in the environment that surrounds us.

    The two artists often begin the realization of their works starting from the creation of a semicircle to be built with completely natural materials. Then they wait for the Sun rays illuminate their creations in a perfect way, so as to complete the cycle of nature in all its beauty.
