This is the idea of one of our readers, Manuela Tomassetti, who gave birth to a beautiful initiative based on sharing.
Psychologist and consultant of carrying, Manuela had quite a lot of cartons in the house after buying a chest of drawers:
“It didn't seem right to throw them away. In my opinion they could still find their own why. So I kept them. One day I got the idea. I'll do one box woven like a basket and let's see if it holds up, I enjoyed it badly ”.
By intertwining the cardboard strips, Using the clothes pegs and gluing everything together with the vinyl glue, Manuela has created a beautiful kindness box.
Kindness box, why this name?
Being a carrying consultant, who teaches mothers the art of babywearing, that is, how to tie babies with swaddling clothes and baby carriers, Manuela says she has a lot of comings and goings at home.
“The idea of making it become kindness box came by thinking back to wall of kindness who told me he has someone I know in his daycare. In that wall people leave things they no longer use for whoever wants them and when I heard this idea I liked it a lot. A lot of mothers go through my house for consultations and here is the kindness box could be a nice thing to be all a little bit kinder ”she tells us.
In a corner of his house, there is the basket where whoever wants it can leave something that is no longer needed and take something in return that can come in handy.
“A small gesture that costs nothing. I hope this box brings so much kindness to everyone ”.
