An extraordinary tree that symbolizes life's revenge and resilience. It is located near the beach of Kalaloch, inside the Olympic National Park in Washington.
Due to soil erosion the life of this tree is continually hanging by a thread, yet it continues to resist and to anchor itself to the ground with its roots. For some people it is almost like magic. It almost seems to be in front of an immortal tree.
It is surprising that new shoots and new leaves continue to sprout on the tree even if its roots do not have close enough contact with the ground. Yet the tree managed to survive in these conditions for years.
THEKalaloch Tree of Life it is a Sitka type spruce but does not have an official name. So the population dubbed it "Tree of Life". It is also called "Tree on the run" or "The cave tree" because a real cavity has formed under its roots.

The cave would have been formed over time due to the presence of a small underground stream that flows into the sea. Gradually the water has taken away the soil and now the tree is almost in the balance. For decades continues to survive. He teaches us to resist and cling to life without ever losing hope.
