How would you react if Jon Bon Jovi appeared on the screen in the middle of an online lesson, addressing you? It's not such an unlikely hypothesis, in fact it is exactly what happened to the children at Marsh Pointe Elementary School in Florida last Monday.

The rock star wanted to surprise about twenty children who were connected for their usual online lesson due to the lockdown. But to be really amazed and enthusiastic about this exceptional event were above all the parents of the children who will hardly forget this event.

Jon Bon Jovi intervened in live streaming to "interpret" the homework assigned by their teacher, Michael Bonick, who had asked him to write some thoughts focused on life in quarantine. So, the New Jersey rocker decided to include the thoughts written by the children in his new song "Do What You Can".

"Mr. B., you guys wrote something and I was very excited the moment I found out",

    said the artist

"Because if you can write your feelings on paper sometimes they can turn into songs, and sometimes into stories and you will never know where they can lead you."

Michael Bonick is a huge Bon Jovi fan and when he learned that the singer was looking for the lyrics for his new single, he didn't miss the opportunity and sent the writings of his very young students. But he would never have thought of such an exciting ending!

Thanks to the resourcefulness of their teacher, the children were able to attend a unique lesson held by the famous rocker who sang the lyrics developed by them, accompanied by the acoustic guitar. One of the children had written:

“My parents do their best. But I can say that they are stressed ”.

A thought that struck Jon Bon Jovi very much for which he wanted to congratulate by saying:

“You are a rock star! We wrote all this together, you and me my friend. "

Perhaps online teaching isn't as boring as you think!
