Jason Momoa is saving the planet with biodegradable vegan sneakers made with seaweed.
Climbing clothing brand So iLL will release a new line of vegan shoes created in collaboration with actor Jason Momoa, famous not only for Aquaman and Game of Thrones, but also for his commitment to the environment.
The iLL x On The Roam collection features two colors, purple and lavender, of vegan sneakers made with sustainable materials. It starts with an organic cotton upper, a top layer of cork and biodegradable soles. The insoles, on the other hand, are made with algae. The shoes, which are part of a larger collection that includes bags made from recycled bottles, are already available for pre-order and will begin shipping in June.
“A new way to wander. We are introducing two new limited edition models as part of Jason Momoa's So iLL x On The Roam collection. The Unity Purple and Yaya Lavender Roamers feature an organic cotton upper, @bloomfoam seaweed insoles with a top layer of cork, and biodegradable outsoles. We are all in the same boat ”, reads an Instagram post.
