  • Insert the jars and caps into the basket 
  • Choose the wash program with high temperature without soap
  • When done, take out the jars and caps and let them dry.

Sterilize with the microwave

Another quick alternative to sterilizing your glass jars is to use the microwave oven.


The procedure is as follows:

  • First wash the jars 
  • Leave them slightly moist 
  • Fill them halfway with cold water
  • Place them on the turntable and run the appliance at maximum power for about 2-3 minutes
  • At this point, empty the jars and let them dry on a clean tea towel.
