A bear, attracted by the scent of sweets in a Roccaraso pastry shop, approached and decided to break through the window just to taste those delights. It is a Marsican bear, named Juan Carrito, well known as it is one of the four children of the Amarena bear.
All this took place in the evening around 21:30 pm, therefore not yet in the middle of the night but evidently the bear felt safe to cross the streets undisturbed. After eating all the biscuits that were ready on the trays, he walked away satisfied.
The Carabinieri Forestali realized what happened as Juan Carrito is equipped with a radio collar, it is in fact a bear registered, but by the time they arrived on the spot the raid had been made and also the damage to the pastry that in addition to the showcase will have to repair a pipe broken by the passage of the bear.
