All products in this original shop have the express purpose of raise awareness of environmental problems which creates this material. In short, to make us reflect on the lasting effects of our single use of plastic.

Starting from 22 October to 7 November 2020 it will be possible, upon reservation, to visit the shop located in Times Square. The project has suffered delays due to Covid-19 but now the installation is finally preparing to be open to the public for free.

What can be found inside? Just like a normal grocery store, it ranges from fruit, to vegetables, from meat to cakes, from dry products to sushi. But the whole thing is done with bags, thousands of "products" made by hand with recycled plastic.

"It is my attempt to make something authentic and human out of what is mass produced. There is a great deal of humor in the pitfalls of capitalism, and I find that humor and satire can be powerful tools for social criticism, especially with issues that seem too sad and overwhelming to address them directly, "said artist Robin. Frohardt.
