Have you ever thought of recycle the old T-shirtsand that you no longer wear and give them a very original new life? You could, for example, with a little needle, thread and a lot of creativity transform your T-shirt that you no longer use into an original and sexy trendy top. How? The procedure is simple and the Instructable site suggests it to us.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- An old t-shirt that is not too tight - better if without writing or drawings, because it will have to be worn backwards.
- Scissors
- A sewing machine (or good hands!)
- Safety needles
- About one and a half meters of elastic thread
1) UPPER PART 
- First of all, measure the circumference of your bust with a tape measureor and cut a piece of elastic to the same size.
- Turn the t-shirt inside out and with the scissors make a small cut on the lower inner hem, in order to open a passage for the elastic thread.
- Use a safety needle to fix one end of the thread you previously cut and insert it through the slot and then slide it all the way throughbottom hem of the shirt.
- Sew together the ends of the elastic and at this point turn the shirt inside out again.
2) LOWER PART
Now let's move on to the top of the top:
- First fix the fabric with the help of a pair of needles in such a way that do not move or crease
- Following an imaginary line drawn just below the neck of the shirt, cut it with scissors part of fabric above of the line.
- At this point fold up the sleeves on the front of the t-shirt, as if wearing it you were crossing your arms, and using the safety needles pin them so that you can sew them later.
- Fold a small strip of fabric along the entire part you previously cut and sew a hem parallel to the top one.
3) BAG
- Turn the shirt inside out again and sew the inside openings of the sleeves, so as to close the openings.
- Turn the shirt inside out again and on the inside hem of each sleeve - either side of the seam - open two slits like the one you made at the bottom of the shirt.
- Cut two pieces of elastic measuring slightly less than the circumference of the sleeves and with the help of a safety needle pass them inside the two hems, then sewing the ends together: the edge will then be curled.
- At this point you can sew the sleeves to the shirt: they will become small pockets!
- If the idea of pockets doesn't appeal to you, you can always sew the sleeves inside: the result will be simpler, but certainly just as beautiful!
4) YOU DO NOT REMAIN THAT .. WEAR!
There you have it: in practice you will wear your old shirt upside down, and depending on the length it will be a top or a dress: not bad for a shirt that otherwise you would not have used anymore and that instead thanks to creative recycling you can reuse in an absolutely original way!
