If you're looking to detox for the holiday season right now (when overeating will be almost unavoidable), you can try a detox drink that's perfect for fall, which will help make you feel a little lighter. It consists of a few ingredients and is very simple to prepare.
Do you want to experiment with a detox drink useful to get rid of toxins, good but also useful for warming up these cold autumn days? We then present a recipe based on green tea and jasmine, enriched with mint leaves and lemon juice that comes from India (the Times Now television network proposed it).

Ingredients for people 4
- Water - 2 cups
- Green tea leaves - 1/4 cup
- Dried jasmine leaves - 1/2 cup
- Mint leaves - 1/2 cup
- Lemon juice - 1/3 cup
- Honey - 1/3 cup
Boil the water in a saucepan, add the green tea and leave it on the stove for about 2 minutes. At this point also insert the jasmine and mint leaves, leaving for another minute.
Let it cool down, filter and finally complete the recipe with lemon juice and honey (better to put them when the drink is not hot to prevent them from losing their properties).
If you can't find dried jasmine leaves, you can also use jasmine green tea directly and then add the other ingredients.
Each ingredient in this simple recipe offers different benefits. Green tea is a drink that promotes detoxification and weight loss (obviously associated with a healthy diet and moderate but constant physical activity).
The presence of jasmine, then, enriches the drink with soothing effects on the body but also offers a certain degree of relaxation for the mind (also favored by its intoxicating scent). Mint, on the other hand, has disinfectant and digestive properties and relaxes the intestine while lemon is purifying and remineralizing.
Finally, honey has antibacterial, antiviral and anti-inflammatory properties.
