You may, at first glance, not realize that the your living room is a potential example of environmental toxicity, but, upon closer examination, also change your mind. First, think of all the elements it contains: sofas, armchairs, coffee tables and more, lamps, TV, stereo, curtains, telephones, air conditioners, heaters and stoves, ornaments, libraries and sometimes musical instruments. Let's not forget that there may also be toys if you have small children. If these pieces don't have any certifications able to demonstrate that they do not contain non-toxic materials, the list of potentially "hostile" elements becomes long.
The many hours you spend in your living room and the large investment you have typically made - or are in the process of making - indicate that efforts towards a greener home can have a major impact. The question to be addressed is that of determine which of the assets you hold may be eco-unfriendly. If you have decided to create a greener living area, it is worth classifying the objects currently present and of replace those that create health and environmental problems.

Let's take an example: i carpets, which also help to contain the dispersion of heat, are natural collectors of organisms that are often not respectful of either man or the environment: to clean them, vacuum, sprinkle with bicarbonate, leave it to act overnight and finally pass the vacuum cleaner again instead of using industrial products that contribute to increasing pollutants; if you can, prefer the ones in natural fibers, wary of cheap but synthetic ones as well filled with chemical dyes.
