I cats, you know, they love hiding places and sheltered places. As an alternative to the classic basket, you can make one fai-da-te tent in a few moves, starting with an old t-shirt and some metal hangers. It only takes a few minutes and a little skill to get the curtain, but you don't need to sew, so you will be facilitated.
Here is the tutorial to follow to create your cat tent.
You will need:
1 old t-shirt
1 square cardboard base
2 metal hangers
Scotch tape
Play da balia
Scissors and pliers
1) Straighten the hangers and remove the metal hook.
2) Shape the hangers in such a way form 2 arches quite uniform and regular. You will need to place them crossed so that they go from one corner of the cardboard base to the other.
3) Apply del Scotch tape to give more stability to the cardboard base.
4) Practice a hole on each corner of the base of cardboard to be able to insert the ends of the hangers. Push the hangers firmly into the holes and fold the ends inwards. Join the hangers at the top with the adhesive tape, which you will also apply under the base. Use pliers if you need to straighten them a bit.
5) Finally, create the curtain cover. The "neck" of the t-shirt will be the entrance door. To secure the t-shirt securely on the bottom of the tent, apply safety pins. If necessary, trim the excess fabric. Inside the tent you can put a small pillow or a blanket.
