    How these two adorable dachshunds helped free the Ever Given ship from the Suez Canal

    Crusoe and Oakley, the two cute dachshunds who dug with great determination to try to free the Ever Given ship in the Suez Canal.

    The story of the Ever Given ship, which blocked maritime traffic in the Suez Canal for almost a week, went around the world. After numerous unsuccessful attempts, the boat was freed from aground on March 29th. What not everyone knows, however, is that they contributed (or at least tried!) With great enthusiasm and determination to unlocking the boat. Crusoe e Oakley, two adorable dachshunds.





    The two puppies were filmed wearing hard hats and safety vests while they were digging in the sand to free the container ship.

    "The media don't like to give us credit, but it was actually the two little dachshunds who cleaned up the Suez Canal and freed the container ship," said the owner of Crusoe. “Thankfully the two dogs have earned some well-deserved treats for their great digging skills! Nice work, puppies! ".

    In fact, the Dachshund Crusoe is a real celebrity. His Instagram page has over 800 followers, while his YouTube channel is followed by over a million users.

    A book about his adventures was even published a few years ago, and in 2018 he won the prestigious Animal Star People's Choice Award.

    And believe it or not, Crusoe and Oakley did their best to free Ever Given, revealing their great digging skills!
