He tied him to a tree, shot him with a rifle and then threw him into the bushes. The victim is a medium-sized mixed breed dog, just over a year old and with signs of malnutrition. The incident happened in via Santa Maria, in the municipality of Vigone, in Piedmont.

“We were told by a lady who was taking her dog for a walk in that area and who was alarmed by the barking of her pet. She herself phoned the provincial command of the Green Jackets of Cercenasco on Monday morning to report the incident and the place where the incident took place ”says the regional manager of the Green Jackets in L'Eco del Chisone.

But who was capable of such a violent and cruel gesture towards a defenseless being? According to veterinarians, the dog was undernourished, without a microchip and with signs of suffering on the body. Proof that not even his short life had been easy. Now the carcass has been taken to the Zooprophylactic Institute of Turin, where an autopsy will be carried out, while the cartridge case found near the tree will be subjected to further investigations.

Now the judicial police investigations are underway to identify the person responsible, in the area there are private cameras that could be the turning point. The investigators exclude that it is a hunter who inadvertently shot his dog, but rather that we are faced with a real execution.
