The news of the double abandonment of Tintim and the # Somos6milTintins campaign have mobilized thousands of people, who have proposed to adopt the little dog. Among the nominees were also well-known personalities, including actresses Tatá Werneck and Patrícia Pillar.
Given the precedents, to find a new family in Tintimi candidates were carefully evaluated by the Municipal Secretariat for the Protection of Animals (Sempa) and, after careful selection, it was possible to find a new home for the puppy.
The selection process was particularly complicated both due to the puppy's disability, which has paw problems, and because a judicial proceeding for abandonment is still pending.
“The trial involves an entire judicial question due to the abandonment, as well as a dispute of the former guardian and all the popular repercussions of the case, even on an international scale. It was a procedure that required extreme attention.
Due to the physical characteristics of the animal, we have added some questions to the standard adoption questionnaire, especially regarding the floor of the adoption home, ”explained Anderson Ribeiro from Sempa.
Tintim will go to live in the metropolitan region of Porto Alegre and initially the custody will be temporary.
