Hannah Herbst lives in Boca Raton, Florida. Thanks to her creation she was rewarded with a check from 25 thousand dollars. The device for obtaining energy from the oceans is designed to favor developing countries where access to the electricity grid is still impossible for many.
The little girl designed the device Ocean Energy Probe spending only 12 dollars to have the necessary materials available. The saving strategy is based on the choice of recycled materials.
He experienced it in the Boca Raton Intracoastal Waterway, where water currents represent an important potential for energy production. Hannah's hope is that the world will progress more and more towards the use of renewable sources, putting aside fossils and nuclear power. She is in favor of clean energies and her commitment to her gives us a lot of hope in the younger generations.
