Many people love plants, but they don't have enough space to devote to this passion. Today we explain how to create a small house plan in a simple way - starting, among other things, from what we could consider two waste, namely the seeds contained in the apple and a coffee grounds

First, let's get it a glass jar (possibly with hermetic closure): also in this case, we can recycle an empty jar of legumes or a preserves - the important thing is that it is well washed and dried. Then take a coffee pod that has already been used, making sure that it is of the fully compostable type (i.e. those that are thrown into the wet), and make a small cross cut in the center of it with the help of scissors. Be careful at this stage not to break the pod too much or to let out a lot of coffee.

In the small cut we are going to insert a couple of apple seeds, properly rinsed and free from any pulp residues. Finally, we close the flaps of the wafer and vaporizziamola with plenty of fresh water, so as to moisten it completely. So let's take the glass jar, insert the moistened wafer inside and close it well, then place it in a dry and bright place - this will favor the birth of our seedling.

The seed should germinate within a few days, peeping out of the plant: the coffee contained in the pod will act as a natural fertilizer. At this point we can transfer our sprout inside a pot with soil - but let's not throw the pod away: being compostable, it will naturally degrade within the soil. Let's get a medium-sized pot and some peat or soil. After covering the bottom of the pot with earth, we place our sprout and cover again with more soil. Let's not forget to give our new plant plenty of water: it will need it to grow well. Finally, we place our vase in a bright place but away from direct sunlight. Within about twenty days (in which we will have always kept the soil moist), the plant will have grown to the point of overcoming the obstacle of the soil and finally emerging.

We recommend repotting this plant at least once a year, to give the roots enough space to grow at their best. If cared for over the years, this plant could also reach considerable dimensions and even develop a real trunk.
