Directly from Liverpool comes a very particular line of garden furniture, which unites nature and crafts, botany and sustainability. The creator is the artist Kevin Hunt who has recovered chairs, wardrobes, sideboards and tables to cover them with green blankets of herbs and leaves. What good is it? Pure and simple art to be placed in the garden and observed in its thousand evolutions.

The maximum freedom of expression is precisely one of the aspects that characterize the works of Kevin who, speaking of his sculptures, highlights the unpredictable aspect of the natural element at play.

The grass adheres to furnishings thanks to a sticky soil which, in addition to sticking to the walls, provides a fertile base for vegetation. Initially everything is sorted by perfect English grass, then, over time, you are the one to prune as you see fit.

In addition to the natural element, the recovery of surplus objects is also an eco-friendly aspect of Kevin's work. Chairs, bedside tables and small abandoned sideboards take on a new role. Used furniture is transformed to such an extent that it can no longer be used, imagine sitting on a chair that has a nice carpet of moss and buds instead of a cushion.

The irreversible alteration raises its status, from simple pieces of furniture to real sculptures of the green generation, and the question that each element poses to the observer is: what does it mean to be an object? When does one become a sculpture, a work of art?

What is the benefit that derives from it? Perhaps, a further reflection on the issue of sustainability. The possibility of thinking of art as one of the ways to take to appreciate the artistic beauty of nature even in the garden of one's own home.
