Consumers, with a simple click, can identify among the thousands of articles on the market, i 10 best in 11 categories and 50 product sub-categories, that is, those that, with the same quality and performance, consume less energy and have a lower impact on the environment.

The advantages of compact light bulbs and LEDs are considerable. Replacing a 75W incandescent bulb with an energy saving equivalent of just 15W (920-970 lumens) you save 70% of the costs, that is, by calculating the average annual cost of electricity in addition to the price of the bulb itself and its duration, we pass from 42 euros to 12 (considering it on for 7 hours a day). High-efficiency light bulbs also emit much less CO2: in the replacement described above, for example, the incandescent light bulb would have emitted 76 kg of CO2, while the equivalent high-efficiency light bulb emits only 15 kg, with a savings in CO2 emissions of about 80% compared to the past.

Fluorescent bulbs, currently the most efficient lighting system available on the European market, also, even if they cost more at the time of purchase, are cheaper over time, Because they consume less and last longer. With enormous benefits not only for the environment, but also for the pockets: according to the estimates of the European Union, every family can save at least 50 euros per year on your bill.

The introduction of the new bulbs is not the only novelty. The new energy labels, the result of a technological and regulatory improvement, but also of a greater awareness of consumers and businesses, which have determined the progressive improvement of the energy efficiency of household appliances. A big step forward that enters the daily life of millions of consumers and can concretely reduce the impact on the environment of our society.
