Among the foods suggested by experts to prevent and relieve the symptoms of glaucoma we find fruit, vegetables and chocolate. Among the drinks, however, here coffee, tea and red wine. In any case, these are drinks and foods rich in antioxidants, which are beneficial for the retina.
Experts therefore suggest choosing foods that contain antioxidants, retinol, vitamin B1 and omega 3. Among the plant sources of omega 3 walnuts are worth mentioning, while for the Vitamin B1 here are the potatoes. Fruits and vegetables are particularly rich in polyphenols, mainly present in thegrape.
