It is still too early to do the damage count. The authorities will think of that, but the Genoese citizens first of all have to remove the mud and debris that are blocking the city. Then we will think about the rest. Alongside them, relentlessly, many young volunteers, the best of youth, as they have been defined. He digs with his bare hands to remove the dark veil that covers Genoa, unfortunately now accustomed to the sad reality it has to face every year in this period.
But the fear has not stopped yet. It was extended by the Liguria Region, until 23.59 pm today 13 October, the State of Alert 2. Meanwhile, in recent days the Municipality has ordered the suspension of the payment of the installment of IMU and TASI and of the TARI with subsequent rescheduling until zeroing.
History repeats itself, for reasons that have been at the center of controversy these days. Not only the lack of alert but above all the prevention, with activities and funds already arranged before the flood of 2011, have infuriated the Genoese who every year now, in this period, have to cross their fingers and hope that abundant rains will not arrive.
