Alongside his works also those of the painter Diego Rivera, the great love of the Mexican painter who brought her closer to art and whom he married in 1929 leading a very painful married life.

Born in Mexico in 1907, Frida Kahlo led a life very troubled, but despite the physical problems from a young age, he managed to develop his own idea of art linked to the Mexican political context. The exhibition therefore traces his history and highlights the different aspects of his poetics: from self-portraits to the rejection of a body tormented by an accident, by the torment for a missed motherhood up to the experiences with French Surrealism.

For those in Rome instead, the 23 October from 16 onwards, the Acid Drop art gallery in the Trastevere district of Rome hosts an event entirely dedicated to the Mexican artist, entitled FRIDA KAHLO NIGHT.
