DIY Advent Calendar from cardstock
Card stock is an extremely versatile material that you can use to create cute and original DIY Advent Calendars.
Just print the pattern you find here, assemble it and decorate it with a white marker, following the instructions in the following video tutorial.
DIY Advent Calendar with Sachets
Bread bags, letter envelopes, sachets of all shapes and types can be recycled to make original DIY Advent Calendars.
They do not have to be identical, you can alternate several, hanging them with a few wooden clothespins on a support as you like. For example cords, a plywood panel, a wooden ladder.
Alternatively, you can put the envelopes in a box and decorate them with some Christmas elements.
DIY Advent Calendar with Toilet Rolls
Don't throw away the toilet paper rolls, recycle them to make DIY Advent Calendars.
- First, close the ends of each roll with a piece of circular cardboard of the right diameter.
- Then place 4 rolls side by side and glue them with hot glue.
- Make another row of four and do the same until you get to 24.
- Then glue the different rows on top of each other.
- Now with some cardboard create the roof.
DIY Advent Calendar from Recycled Paper Cups
You can recycle the paper cups to compose your DIY Advent Calendar. Draw the numbers from 1 to 24 over the glasses, add a small bag inside, gluing it on the bottom with hot glue and insert sweets or other surprises.
You can arrange the glasses on a flat surface or apply them on a vertical panel, with the help of a few pins.
DIY Advent Calendar with Boxes
If you have boxes of various shapes and sizes, recycle them to make a cute DIY Advent Calendar. Just decorate them to your liking, add the corresponding number to each and close them with a cord as if they were delicious gift packages, to be unwrapped day by day.
