Innovative, equipped with artificial intelligence, with self-cleaning function, UV lights, motion sensors and even health monitoring, it would mean much more than a simple litter box even if the cost (about 323 euros) is not exactly cheap.
But how does it work? In practice, every day it cleans itself mechanically like other self-cleaning litter boxes that already exist on the market, so it means that the owner has to empty the box only once, when it is filled, while every day he does everything by himself. Footloose detects the feces, routes on itself and sends them straight into the tank. Unpleasant odors are, however, neutralized by UV light.

But what is new compared to the existing ones? That Footloose promises to monitor Micio's health through an app on a mobile or tablet. Then, when the cat is inside, data such as body weight, amount of litter, frequency and duration can be collected and the owner can assess if there are any abnormalities in behavior.
