The research in question was conducted by experts from theSidney University and was presented at the annual meeting of the British Society of Neuroscience.

    Researchers have found that excessive consumption of fizzy and sugary soft drinks can harm the healthy psycho-physics, endangering the proper functioning of our brain. And if we think that the biggest consumers of fizzy drinks are children, the negative consequences they may arise from childhood.

    It is not only children who often drink fizzy drinks, but children as well adults, as reminded to the same experts. For many people, fizzy drinks would represent an important part of the daily calorie intake. In short, adults and children tend to prefer fizzy drinks and sugary drinks, towaterwhen they are thirsty.

    Australian researchers intervened to remind us that to quench our thirst we should drink water and set aside fizzy drinks, which should represent an exception to the rule to be granted very rarely.
