Frida-inspired jars with recycled tin cans
retrieve a tin can, wash it and dry it well by removing any labels. Paint it with acrylic water spray or directly with the brush. Let it dry and trace Frida's face on it with a pencil.
Before starting, we recommend that you draw it on a sheet of paper, in order to have a ready-made trace. Now you just have to color your face with acrylics and a brush. Finally, add some soil and succulent plants of your choice to the jar.
Frida doll with colored cardboard
Collect a few sheets of colored cardboard and make one doll inspired by Frida. The Inspiration Edit tells you how to proceed step by step. You will have to print ready-made shapes on the different colored cards, cut them out with scissors and gradually compose the doll. You will also need a black marker to draw the face. And don't forget the glue!
Frida bookmark with ice cream stick
Your kids will be looking forward to reading knowing they have such a cute bookmark. Frida-inspired wool and flower headband
Get some lana nera and some old artificial flowers. If you don't have any, you can always make the flowers with card or replace them with colored pom poms. You will also need blue ribbon, hot glue, scissors, bits of elastic fabric of different sizes. As The Velvet Mode explains to you, you will have to create the braid using the wool and the blue ribbon, apply the pieces of elastic fabric to the final tuft to create the headband-band. Finally glue the flowers.

Cardboard carnival mask
Why not make a nice one Frida mask for Carnival? Draw the outline of the face on a rough cardboard, then color the hair black and add the inevitable eyebrows. In correspondence of the eyes, make two oval holes with the help of the cutter. Draw a circle on a sheet of blue construction paper. Glue it to your hair and add colored paper flowers, which you can make by following the instructions in the previous video tutorial.
Frida's squash
Instead of carving the pumpkin, this year try to decorate it in an alternative way inspired by Frida Kahlo. Using the cardboard, make the black eyebrows and the mouth, then glue them on the pumpkin. He adds a black wool braid and red pom poms to the top.
On the lower part, apply a strip of black cotton fabric with hot glue. You can have the children decorate it with brushes and fabric colors, favoring shades typical of Mexican folklore. Green for the leaves, red, orange, but also pink for the flowers.
Frida collage with cardboard of various colors
Retrieve some sheets of colored cardboard and draw different shapes on them. In particular you will need the oval of the face, flowers and leaves, eyebrows, eyes, mouth, nose, hair, headband, earrings.
Cut out each shape with scissors and slowly compose the collage, gluing the various elements in the right place. You can also add some XNUMXD flowers on the headband.
